User Personas: Project Management
The Version Sets page allows users to view and manage drawing set information, including set names and issue dates, ensuring clear tracking of drawing releases throughout the project lifecycle.
To perform the actions described in this article, users must be assigned a license for the Drawings tool and have the Drawings - General Permissions permissions.

View Version Sets
- Select Projects on the global navigation menu
- Choose the desired project from the list
- Select Version Sets under Drawings from the slide out menu
The Version Sets page displays all drawing sets associated with the project, along with their corresponding issue dates.
Change an Issue Date
From the Version Sets page:
- Select the Issue Date field for the desired set.
- Enter a date directly or select one using the calendar icon.
- Changes are automatically saved.
This allows teams to accurately reflect the official issue date of a drawing set without re-uploading files.
Change a Set Name
From the Version Sets page:
- Select the Set Name field for the desired version set.
- Enter the new set name using the inline text field.
- Changes are automatically saved.
Updating set names helps maintain clarity when managing multiple drawing releases over the course of a project.
Bulk-Edit Drawing Sets
After drawing sets are uploaded, they can be edited in bulk to apply tags, assign disciplines, and capture sheet details. The bulk-edit experience mirrors the initial upload workflow, allowing sheets to be automatically named and numbered for consistent organization.
From the Version Sets page:
- Select the ︙ (3-dot/ellipsis) menu next to the set you want to update
- Select Edit:
- The Edit Sheets Log will open and allow you to make Sheet Name/Descriptions edits, re-capture sheets using OCR, assign tags and disciplines.
