User Personas: Admin | Project Manager | Field User
Before you can use eSUB Fusion for the first time, you need to activate your account. This article covers activation, signing in and out, and resetting a password you cannot remember.
An administrator in your organization creates your account first. You cannot activate an account that does not exist yet, so if you have not received a welcome email, that is the place to start.
| A note on product naming. eSUB Cloud and eSUB 2.0 are former names for what is now eSUB Fusion. You may still see them in web links, email notifications, and a few areas of the product while our rebrand rolls out. Nothing has changed about the platform or your data. If a link or message uses an older name, continue as normal. |

Activate Your eSUB Fusion Account
New accounts receive a welcome email, and you set your own password as part of activating.
- Open the welcome email from noreply@esubcloud.com in your inbox, then select the Activate Account link.
- Enter your email address on the Activate Account page, then select Request Verification Code.
- Check your email for the 6-digit verification code, then enter it on the set-password page.
- Create your password, then select Submit.
| If you copy and paste the verification code, check that you have not picked up a blank space before or after the six digits. A trailing space is the most common cause of a code being rejected. |
Sign In to eSUB Fusion
Once your account is activated:
- Go to esubcloud.com/login, enter your credentials, then select Sign In.
| Bookmark esubcloud.com/login. It saves the daily search, and it keeps you off lookalike pages. |
What You See After Signing In
Two people signing in to the same company can land on different screens and see different menus. What you get depends on your license type, your permissions, and which projects you have access to. All three are set by an administrator.
The clearest example is a field crew member on a Crew Basic license. Crew Basic gives a crew member a login with limited access, and it currently grants My Schedule only. A Crew Basic user therefore lands directly on My Schedule when they sign in, because it is the one feature available to them. That is expected behavior, not a problem with the account.
If you expected to see more than you do, see the Create and Manage Users and Crew Members article for how license types work, Set Up User Permissions and the Set Up User Access Level article for how project access is granted.

FAQ
I never received the activation email.
Check your spam and quarantine folders for a message from noreply@esubcloud.com. If it is not there, your account may not have been created yet, or it may have been created against a different email address. An administrator in your organization can confirm which address is on the account and resend the invitation. Also check to make sure your email client is not blocking these emails, check our Adding eSUB to your Safe Sender List to ensure the domain is whitelisted.
My verification code is not being accepted.
The usual cause is a blank space copied along with the code. Type the six digits by hand instead of pasting them. Codes are also short-lived, so if the email has been sitting for a while, request a new one.
I signed in and can only see My Schedule.
That is the expected result on a Crew Basic license, which grants My Schedule and nothing else. If you need access to more of eSUB, an administrator has to change your license type, not just your permissions. See What You See After Signing In.
Do I use the same login on the mobile app?
Yes. The same email address and password work in the mobile app, and a password reset done on either one applies to both.
