The Field Notes tool provides a streamlined way to relay information between the field and the office. Field users on the eSUB Fusion mobile app can quickly upload and tag job site images to document progress, issues, delays, safety protocols, material shipments, and anything else your business needs. Office users can review and respond to Field Notes to keep operations running smoothly.
To perform the actions in this article, you need the Field Notes - General Permissions and Share permissions. See Set Up User Permissions for more guidance.

From the Project Home Screen:

Offline Storage of Documents
eSUB Fusion stores up to 1,000 documents created or modified in the last 90 days on your device. The download symbol shows which documents are available in offline mode. This limits the amount of storage the app uses and keeps it running smoothly.

Create Field NoteFrom the Field Notes log:
Field Note FeaturesMedia. Snap photos and videos or upload them from your device library. You can also add text and freehand markups to images in the mobile app. See Document Media & Attachments on Mobile for more guidance. Notes. Use the Notes field to lend more context to the Field Note. Keywords. Keywords are tags that categorize the Field Note or bring attention to issues on the job site. Your administrator can add new Keywords to your account as needed. Location Tags. Location Tags identify a specific area within the job site, such as 6th Floor, Room 121, or Rooftop. Enter them on the fly while creating a Field Note; once created, a Location Tag can be reused across the project. See Applying Keywords and Other Tags to Documents on Mobile for more guidance. |

Add Media to a Field NoteWhile creating or editing the Field Note:

| Attachments (e.g. PDF files) are currently only able to be added to documents via the web, but they may be viewed on the mobile app. |
| There is no limit to the quantity of media that can be added to a Field Note. |
