Release Notes: August 2026

Scheduling is a brand-new tool in eSUB Fusion. From the global navigation menu, your project management can plan work day by day: create schedule items, assign crew to projects, add notes for the people on the schedule, and record time off, all in one place.

Everyone else gets My Schedule, a personal view of their own upcoming assignments, available on the web and in the eSUB Fusion mobile app.

Scheduling also respects Market Areas: users assigned to market areas see only the projects in their areas, and crew lists offer only the people eligible for the selected project. Learn more in Scheduling and Scheduling (Mobile).

Market Areas let you organize your company by region or division. Assign market areas to users and to projects, and eSUB Fusion scopes what each person sees: logs, feeds, and scheduling show only the projects and people in that user's areas. Projects and people with no market area assigned remain visible to everyone.

Crew Members are now managed separately from Users, so the people you schedule and track in the field no longer need to be set up the same way as the people who log in. Creation, editing, and permissions for both are covered in Create and Manage Users and Crew Members.

Users and Crew Members can now be imported from an Excel spreadsheet instead of being created one at a time, making company setup and bulk onboarding much faster. Importing requires the Full User Management permission. Step-by-step instructions are in Create and Manage Users and Crew Members.

Users can now add a profile photo from their user profile. Avatars appear on the Activity Feed and in Scheduling, so it is easier to see who posted an update or who is on a schedule at a glance. When no photo has been added, initials are shown instead. See Update Your User Profile.

A new Attach Files picker lets you attach files to your documents from your computer, your company's eSUB Drive, or the current project's Project Drive, without downloading anything first. The familiar attach box works exactly as before; a new Browse Drive button underneath it opens the picker.

Browse in a sortable, filterable table or a card view with image previews, search within the current folder, and select multiple files from more than one source in a single visit. Attached files are copies, so the original stays where it was and your document does not change if the original is later edited.

The My Projects, Daily Reports, Field Notes, RFIs, and Submittal Items logs have moved to eSUB's updated grid experience: sortable and filterable columns, and view preferences that are remembered between visits. Field Notes also gains a media-first card view with photo and video thumbnails, so you can recognize a note on sight instead of by name. Logs and exports respect your Market Areas.

Attachments received by email now open directly in eSUB Fusion. Select an attachment on an email in the Project Mailbox and PDFs, Office files, images, and videos display in an in-app preview, with no download required.

For companies using the QuickBooks Online integration, a new field on the Project Info page lets you link the project to its QuickBooks Online project on the spot, with no trip to the integration settings pages. See QuickBooks Online Integration.

Crew members and field users can open My Schedule in the eSUB Fusion mobile app to see their own upcoming assignments, including any notes the scheduler left for them. Learn more in Scheduling and Scheduling (Mobile).
